2010 is here and Tristan has started his training. He will be gone until April/May at which point we will continue working with him at home. We are excited to breed him to four of our own mares for 2011 foals. That first foal crop should give us an excellent idea what he will sire when bred to different mares, and by then we will also have a very good idea of his potential under saddle.
Tristan has been subscribed to the 2010 APHA Breeders Trust, making all his 2011 APHA foals eligible to be enrolled in the program. His introductory fee for 2010 will be $500 ($100 Booking Fee included) plus mare care.
For Tristan's first year we will only charge the non-refundable booking fee and mare care at the time of breeding, with the remainder due when the resulting foal is up and nursing. This no risk LFG has worked well for us in the past, especially with unproven stallions.
We reserve the right to turn away mares we feel unsuitable and only breedings that will result in a registerable foal will be considered.
Very limitted bookings are available for 2010.
Feel free to contact us for details.
